Getting to know Grace
I started my nursing career as a Charge Nurse in Pacifica Skilled Nursing & Rehab but found my passion for assisted living when I humbly stumbled upon as a Resident Services Director (equivalent to Director of Nursing) in Atria Senior Living in San Mateo. Over the past decade, I worked in various roles in assisted living operation
management from small memory care communities (49 beds) to large communities
(200+ beds); I enjoyed every bit of it.
I managed to squeeze in 4 years of home health nursing experience while
I returned back to school. I received my Bachelors in Human Services with
Gerontology and Masters in Public Administration with HR Management.
I am a certified Assisted Living Administrator (RCFE) in the State of
California and a Certified Assisted Living Nurse (CALN) belonging to
National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration Long Term
Care.
All the years of being in different capacities in assisted living
& nursing allowed me to acquire a wealth of knowledge and
resources that many people only dreamt. My past experience allowed
me to help a family in a time of crisis such that a quick discharge from
the hospital must occur on the same day, or limited resources are available.
My Promise:
-
I promise to think outside of the box.
-
I promise to listen.
-
I promise to deliver compassionate care.
My 2 children practically grew up in assisted living facilities with many "adopted" great-grandparents. We are a family-owned business that is instilled with traditional values, love and laughter. I care about the quality life and well-being of our clients who are treated just like family; and all my teammates are specifically appointed as they too share the same values as I.
We look forward to serving you with exceptional care that you truly deserve.
